Alitalia – Società Aerea Italiana is the largest Italian airline with flights to more than 20 Italian destinations and more than 70 destinations worldwide. Alitalia flies three times a day directly from Amsterdam to Milan Linate and twice a day to Rome Fiumicino from where our passengers have access to the rest of our global network.

Fleet

Alitalia 4 types of aircraft; long-haul aircraft (Boeing 777-300 ER, Boeing 777-200 ER, Airbus A330-200), medium-haul aircraft (Airbus A321, Airbus A320, Airbus A319) and regional aircraft (Embraer 190 and Embraer 175) The new aircraft have a lower fuel consumption and a significant reduction in CO2 emissions.

Route network

With seven hubs in the biggest cities of Italy, we guarantee a reliable connection to the large international and intercontinal destinations.

Thanks to this network, Alitalia has coverage throughout Italy and can thus offer direct connecting flights to major European capitals and the fastest growing intercontinental markets for tourists and business travellers.

Travel classes

The distinctive comfort and elegance in Italian style are always present on board the Alitalia aircraft. Alitalia offers 4 service classes: Magnifica, Haul Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy Class.

Alitalia received two prizes in 2019 from the authoritative American magazine Global Traveler: for the first time the award “Best Business-Class Seat Design” and for the ninth consecutive edition the award “Best Airline Cuisine” in the Magnifica class.

Skyteam

Alitalia is a member of the aviation alliance SkyTeam. In total, SkyTeam’s route network consists of more than 1,000 destinations in 187 countries.

In 2010, Alitalia also joined the TransAtlantic joint venture with Air France – KLM and Delta Air Lines. Thanks to the joint venture between these companies, passengers now have access to the largest transatlantic network in the world.

Loyalty program

MilleMiglia, Alitalia’s frequent flyer program, has more than 4 million participants. The program now offers participants even more opportunities to earn and spend Miles on all Alitalia and SkyTeam flights, as well as all kinds of privileges and exclusive services. The offer is further supplemented with new services and products from a growing number of commercial partners.
