Lufthansa connects Amsterdam with more than 200 destinations worldwide. Intercontinental flights; choice from four travel classes

The new Business Class is equipped with seats that do not only offer more personal space, but are fully reclining into a horizontal bed for a pleasant rest. At the moment most aircraft in the fleet are already equipped with the new Business Class cabin and by the end of 2015 the whole long-haul fleet will be retrofitted.

Premium Economy; complete new way of traveling

The new Premium Economy Class offers up to 50 per cent more space compared to regular Economy Class. Passengers in Premium Economy are welcomed on board with a drink and an amenity kit. Passengers can make a choice from a menu and the meal will be served from genuine china tableware. Premium Economy travellers may check-in two pieces of luggage of 23kg each. The new Premium Economy is gradually being introduced but is already available on more than 10 routes, among others to Washington, Tokyo and Buenos Aires.

Lufthansa’s Economy Class is comfortable and pleasant. Extensive inflight entertainment, friendly service combined with tasty meals. Passengers in Economy Class may check-in one piece of luggage with a maximum weight of 23 kilograms.

The Lufthansa fleet; aircraft of true quality

In May 2012 Lufthansa started, as the first airline in the world, passenger flights with the new ‘Jumbo’, the Boeing B747-800. Before adding the B747-8 in the fleet, Lufthansa already operated with the Airbus A380. Both planes are equipped with the latest technology to guarantee as pleasant flight as possible. The long-haul fleet consist further out of Airbus A330 and A340 aircraft as well as the Boeing B747-400. Regardless the aircraft type, the cabin is fitted with rustic and natural colours. The short-haul routes are being operated with, among others, aircraft from the Airbus A320 family, Boeing B737s and Embraers.
