With Turkish Airlines to new Istanbul Airport
On 6 April 2019, the new Istanbul Airport will open its doors, which means a new home base for Turkish Airlines. All their scheduled flights will be operated from Istanbul Airport from the same date.
In the early morning of 6 April 2019, Turkish Airlines will start its relocation from Atatürk Airport, the ‘old’ airport, to the brand-new Istanbul Airport. As soon as the relocation operation has been completed, scheduled flights from the new home base are expected to start that same afternoon as of 14.00 hours (LMT).
