Tuesday 10 October 2017: train strike Belgium

The Belgian train staff has announced to go on strike on Tuesday 10 October 2017 in the Belgian Walloon Region, in the provinces of Liège, Luxembourg, Namen, Waals-Brabant en Henegouwen.

The strike will start on Monday 9 October at 10 PM until Tuesday 10 October 10 PM. During this period a negative travel advice applies for train journeys from, to and via Belgium. The international trains Thalys and Eurostar are expected to operate according the daily train schedule. Travellers are advised to travel on a different day if possible and to consult the NS International website for the most current travel information.
