Tropical storm Nate in Central America

Today, 6 October 2017, the tropical storm Nate has arrived in Central America . Since yesterday, Thursday 5 October 2017, the storm has been active and especially Costa Rica and Nicaragua have been affected.  These countries are now now facing floods due to heavy rainfall.
 

At this moment, the storm is heading towards the Yucatan region in Mexico and the south coast of the United States. It is expected that the state of Texas will be affected by Nate. The states of Alabama and Louisiana will also be affected by the storm and in New Orleans the state of emergency has already been declared. Travellers are advised not to travel to these destinations and to consult the relevant airline's website for the most current flight information.
