Trip to Marrakech inspires Corporate Events department

To set up the most special programmes for you, the Project Managers of our Corporate Events department regularly travel to new destinations. Their experience ensures that we can always advise you well. The team’s most recent trip took them to Marrakech. They returned with a lot of enthusiasm and a suitcase full of inspiration.

In the heart of exotic Morocco lies Marrakech. Surrounded by the snow-capped mountain tops of the Atlas Mountains and the thousand-year-old Palm Grove, Marrakech is also called the ‘capital’ of South Morocco. An intriguing city, a place of astonishing architecture, magical souks and vast palm oases.  

Did you know, for example, that not far from Marrakech you can spend the night in the desert? At just a 30-minute drive from Marrakech, you find the Agafay desert, where a tent camp can be set up especially for your party, including a dining room, a bar and en-suite rooms. Of course, you can also choose to spend the night in a traditional Moroccan villa or riad, as it is also called. We have found the most beautiful riads, and will be happy to advise you.

When you are in Marrakech, a visit to the Djemaa El Fna square and the souks is highly recommended. With a guide you’ll make your way through the colourful market where many old crafts are still practised. You can buy the most beautiful products here. But don’t forget to haggle! Visit one of the many food stalls and taste the spicy Moroccan cuisine. You should definitely try the authentically prepared tajine.
