Tips for before your Corporate Event
- Tuesday 25 June 2019

We’re happy to support you in setting up your business meeting, corporate event or incentive. But there’s so much choice! To make sure we can give you the best advice, it’s useful to start thinking about your wishes even before you contact us. Our Project Managers will be happy to think along with you and will inspire you with special destinations that stand out and will leave an unforgettable impression on your guests. To help you on your way, we give you some tips here to direct your thoughts.
First of all, think of the kind of event you have in mind and what you want to achieve with it. For example, are you looking for a business meeting abroad combined with a themed programme? Or can we skip the meeting room and would you just like to ‘be together’ with your guests? Would you like to inspire or activate them, or strengthen and intensify your relationship? And how many days are you thinking of? The answers to all these questions will have an effect on the budget. And while we’re talking money, have you thought about the budget? We sometimes find that customers have really no idea about costs per person. How does a budget of €1000 per person sound to you? Way too much? Or just about right? By thinking along these lines, you can start determining your optimum budget.
Then there’s the destination. It helps if you have some idea. If you don’t, just consider whether or not you want it to be hot and sunny, or if the food is important, or a specific cuisine. Would you like to add architecture and/or culture? Or are you more the sporty teambuilding type? Should there be time for relaxation or dancing? And would you like to stay in the Netherlands or would a five-hour flight be fine? These are all things we take into account in drawing up our proposal for a special destination and a special programme.
On the basis of your answers to these initial questions, our Corporate Events team can draw up a proposal for you, including all your preferences. Together with local partners, we will then put together a final programme, and we then always recommend that you join us on an inspection trip, so that you’ll be able to experience your event in advance.
Are you interested in a corporate event? Please contact our Corporate Events team to make an appointment. They’ll be happy to help you make a great success of your event, from start to finish.
