Rotterdam Airport better accessible by new highway
- Tuesday 12 June 2018

In the future, Rotterdam The Hague Airport will be better accessible for travellers who travel to the airport by car.
The Dutch Rijkswaterstaat has signed a contract for the construction of the A16 Rotterdam, an 11 kilometer long highway towards the airport. In 2019 the construction of the new highway will start. This will be built from the Terbregseplein junction, along Hillegersberg and Schiebroek, to Rotterdam The Hague Airport, where the A16 will join the A13 in the direction of Delft and The Hague. In the future travellers who come to the airport from the South of the Netherlands will no longer have to drive via the busy A20 highway and in this way they will avoid traffic jams.
