Rotterdam Airport better accessible by new highway

The Dutch Rijkswaterstaat has signed a contract for the construction of the A16 Rotterdam, an 11 kilometer long highway towards the airport. In 2019 the construction of the new highway will start. In the future travellers who come to the airport from the South of the Netherlands will no longer have to drive via the busy A20 highway and in this way they will avoid traffic jams.
