New Routes British Airways and Iberia
From May 2018, British Airways will offer direct flights from London Heathrow to Nashville. This is the 26th destination of British Airways in the United States. Other destinations in the US that will be added to the network, are New Orleans from London Heathrow Airport and Fort Lauderdale and Oakland from London Gatwick.
From 8 May 2018, the daily flight from London Heathrow to Chicago O'hare (BA295) will be executed with an Airbus A380, instead of a B747-400. The remaining five daily flights to Chicago O'Hare, will be performed by the B787. From 24 March until the end of October 2018, every Wednesday and Saturday British Airways will offer a flight to the Seychelles.
Not only British Airways will add new destinations to the network, but also Iberia will offer new routes. In the summer of 2018, Iberia will fly to San Francisco for the first time with the latest A330-200 aircraft. Iberia will also offer flights to Managua, the capital of Nicaragua, three times a week. To Rio de Janeiro and Santiago de Chile, more flights will be offered and to Boston and Los Angeles in North America, the number of flights with the Airbus 330 will be increased.
