New connections with LOT Polish Airlines
LOT Polish Airlines sees opening up new connections as an important element in the development of strong economic and business relationships between countries and companies. The main destinations and convenient transfers offered by LOT guarantee European passengers the most comfortable way of travelling to different parts of the world.
First Dreamliner flight to Delhi
Earlier this month, the state-of-the-art Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner took off from Warsaw Chopin airport for its first scheduled flight to Delhi. This long-haul connection is the second that LOT has taken into operation this year – and also the sixth Asian destination – and is already a great success.
From now on, the Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft (B787-8 and B787-9) will fly this route five times a week, with only 40 minutes transfer time to cities such as Brussels, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, London, Düsseldorf, Prague and Budapest, for which Warsaw Chopin airport will be a convenient transfer hub. The schedule is as follows:
- Departure from Warsaw to Delhi on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 22:45 hours (arrival at 09:15 hours).
- Flights from Delhi to Warsaw on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at 11:15 hours (arrival at 15:45 hours).
For business travellers flying the Warsaw-Delhi route, LOT Polish Airlines offers Indian meals in all three classes, free drinks including alcoholic beverages, and a renewed on-board entertainment system with the latest Bollywood films in Hindi. In addition, there will always be a Hindi-speaking crew on board to provide the best possible experience on board.
New routes to Asia
In addition to the new route to Delhi, the network will be further expanded in the coming months. On 22 September, LOT operated its first flight from Budapest to Seoul. Direct flights from Warsaw to Beijing-Daxing (PKX) airport will start on 28 October, and as of 3 November, LOT will offer flights from Warsaw to Colombo in Sri Lanka.
