KLM now uses official business WhatsApp account

KLM is the world’s first airline to have an official business WhatsApp account. The airline is one of a number of companies that have joined a trial set up by WhatsApp to offer business services through this platform.
 

How does it work?
When booking a ticket on KLM’s website, you can indicate if you wish to receive your flight details on WhatsApp. KLM will then use WhatsApp to send you documents such as your booking confirmation, boarding pass and up-to-date flight information. This means you have all the necessary information quickly at hand. When you use the WhatsApp service, you can also contact KLM 24/7 via the chat option. All chat messages exchanged between you and KLM will be 100% secure and cannot be read by anyone else. Not even WhatsApp has access to these data. Would you like to use KLM’s WhatsApp service? Just indicate this during the booking process or during the online check-in procedure.
