Gulf States cut ties with Qatar

Yesterday, Saudi-Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates ended their diplomatic relations with Qatar, accusing the country of destabilising the region by supporting extremist groups. Etihad Airways, Emirates, Flydubai, EgyptAir and Saudi Arabia Airlines have suspended their flights to and from Qatar.

Qatar Airways is no longer welcome in the neighbouring countries’ airspace: the airline is only still allowed to operate flights from Doha via a narrow north-easterly corridor through Iranian airspace.

Flights from Qatar Airways from Amsterdam still continue to operate according to schedule. The same goes for all  connecting flights except those from the five abovementioned countries.
