From Euro to Bitcoin at Schiphol Airport

From now on, travellers at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport can exchange their euros for virtual currencies.

Through a vending machine in the departure hall of the airport, travellers can convert their money to the cryptocurrency Bitcoin or Ethereum. The machine will be used during a trial period of six months. Travellers who want to use the machine must log-in to their personal virtual account in order to exchange their money. The current exchange rate is continuously displayed on the automatic instruction screen. The exchange machine can be found in the departure hall between the blue and yellow check-in kiosk and the orange ING ATM’s at the bottom of the stairs to Departures 1 and 2.
