Four Indonesian airports closed

Several airports in Indonesia  have been shut down due a volcanic eruption in East Java. These include the international airport at Denpasar. The airport will stay closed until at least 22:00 hrs. local time. Travellers should expect cancelled and delayed flights. All flights to and from Lombok, and from Jember and Banyuwangi on Java, have been cancelled.  Due to the cloud of ash from the eruption of Mount Raung, visibility is too poor for flying, which could last for several weeks.
