Extensive disruption at airports in eastern areas of China

Wintry conditions have caused extensive disruption and closures at multiple airports in eastern China today.

Hefei Xinqiao International, Fuyang Xiguan and Jining Qufu airports have been closed due to heavy snowfall. Extensive disruption to flight operations has also been reported at Xi'an Xianyang, Zhengzhou Xinzheng, Nanjing Lukou, Xiangyang Liuji, Luoyang Beijiao, Yichang Sanxia, Zhangjiajie Lotus and Nanyang Jiangying airports. Public transport is also likely to be disrupted in the affected cities because of adverse weather conditions.
