Eindhoven Airport is expanding
- Tuesday 30 June 2015

Eindhoven Airport has recently announced major plans for improving its surrounding area and the airport’s accessibility. This includes a public transport terminal and a Kiss & Ride lane on the ground floor, enabling parking on the floors above. There will also be a promenade between the parking areas P3, P4 and P5, connecting them directly to the area in front of the terminal. The natural surroundings of this area will be extended where possible to make the promenade as “green” as possible. By improving the entry and exit roads off the A2/N2 and A58 and increasing the capacity of surrounding roads the airport’s accessibility will be improved.
Construction will start in 2016 and is expected to be completed in 2018. The accessibility measures, which will start in 2017, are expected be finalised in 2020.
