Cyclone Marcus approaches Darwin

Today, Friday 16 March 2018, Cyclone Marcus approaches Darwin, the capital of northern Australia.

It is expected that the cyclone will reach the country in the upcoming night and that it will travel in a westerly direction across the country. There is an official cyclone warning in force in the areas between Maningrida and the Daly river mouth including Darwin and the Tiwi Islands.
