Changes in Miles & More program Lufthansa Group

As from 12 March 2018, the Lufthansa Group will modify Miles & More, the savings program for frequent flyers. With Miles & More, travellers of the Lufthansa Group airlines earn points for every euro that is spent when booking a ticket.

From 12 March, the number of points (award miles) that a traveller receives is determined by the price of a ticket in combination with the additional costs of the airline and the frequent flyer status of the traveller. At this moment, the number of miles depends on the travel class during a continental flight or the travel class and the route during an intercontinental flight. From March 2018, the Miles & More participants will receive a standard of 4 miles per euro that is paid for a ticket. When a traveller will fly more often and reaches a higher status in the savings program, the number of miles will be increased to 5 or 6 per euro. The changes in the savings program apply to all tickets of Lufthansa, Swiss International Air Lines, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Eurowings and all other Miles & More partner airlines, as long as the ticket is issued by the Lufthansa Group. For tickets booked before 12 March 2018, the current rules of the Miles & More program apply. For more information about the Miles & More program, please visit the Lufthansa Group website.
