- Tuesday 6 November 2018

This winter, KLM will increase its capacity compared to last year, particularly the capacity of long- and medium-haul distances. There will be more flights to Canada, the United States and Asia. In addition, KLM will continue to focus on emerging markets, and the use of the existing fleet will be optimised.
KLM will be making four more flights per week to Minneapolis. The frequency of flights to Detroit will increase to seven times a week, and to New York to 28 times. Two extra flights from Schiphol to Toronto brings the weekly total to nine. Montreal will also benefit from one extra flight per week.
KLM and Air France will offer an extra flight to Osaka, Japan, which means a total of seven flights per week from Schiphol. Tokyo-Haneda gets two extra flights, which brings the total to 12 weekly flights. There will be four more weekly flights to Mumbai, India.
As of February, there will be 19 flights per week to Dubai. KLM will offer two extra flights from Schiphol, and Air France will offer three extra flights from Charles de Gaulle to the United Arab Emirates.
