An architectural programme for your group trip
- Monday 25 November 2019

“Architecture is the art and science of designing the built environment; including cities, buildings, homes, interiors, landscapes, furniture and objects.” But it is also the perfect theme for an incentive trip. Together with your team, customers or other business relations, you can visit inspiring old buildings or new architectural masterpieces. Such a joint activity connects and motivates people. The VCK Travel Corporate Events team will be happy to help you find the most suitable location with the most enjoyable activities.
Architecture and technology
Become an ancient Greek in Athens and step into the past. Relive old times with the latest virtual technology. By using a tablet or a special pair of glasses, you will feel as if you are back in the past. Listening to the guide, you go back 3,500 years and experience the Acropolis, Olympia and Delphi of yesteryear. You won’t believe your own eyes. And if you don’t believe us either, just watch the video below to get a taste.
The crown jewel
Or would you rather go to Germany to see some special architecture? No problem! In Hamburg, you can admire the Elbe Philharmonic Concert Hall, the crown jewel of the city’s architecture, and combine it with a visit to HafenCity. This district is currently the largest urban renewal area in Europe. Sustainable buildings are being constructed on both sides of the River Elbe. With architects as your guide, you can experience the urban renewal in HafenCity at first hand.
Urban designs and old structures
The old industrial district of Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, is also well worth a visit. This district is close to the old centre and is called the Rotermanni quarter, named after entrepreneur Christian Abraham Rotermann. The area has undergone a metamorphosis, with urban designs linked to old structures. See the mix of ultra-modern and industrial during an inspiring tour with the architects. Lunch in the neighbourhood is also highly recommended!
As you can see, there are many different options for a group trip – these are just a few examples. Where will you go next? Contact the Project Managers of VCK Travel Corporate Events and they will be happy to put together the right menu for you and your guests.
